No experience is required. Beginner PMU courses are designed for complete newcomers and will take you through everything step by step from the ground up.
Beginner PMU training can be completed in two formats. An intensive option is delivered over 4 days, with structured pre-training preparation and daily practice required beforehand. Alternatively, students can train in-person at fortnightly intervals, building skills progressively over time. This flexible program is unlimited, with most students completing it within 2–4 months.
You’ll learn brow mapping and shaping, machine techniques, pigment selection, skin fundamentals, and treatment protocols, along with how to create natural-looking brows that heal well, fade evenly, and maintain skin integrity. Core techniques covered include nano hairstroke brows and ombré/powder brows, with methods then adapted to suit each individual client.
Costs vary depending on the training pathway and units you choose. Beginner brow training is AUD $6,600, while the bundle including Lip Blush tattooing is AUD $7,700. For those enrolling in the Full Diploma of Cosmetic Tattooing, pricing ranges from $14,400 to $16,600 depending on selected electives.
