Our Diploma of Cosmetic Tattooing in Sydney is delivered as a blended hybrid course. Enjoy the flexibility of online pre-learning, paired with immersive, in-person workshops at our Sydney studio where you’ll work on live models under expert guidance. The course duration typically spans 6 to 12 months, giving you the ability to fit study around your lifestyle.
Eyebrow Tattooing: including Nano Brows / Feather Brow techniques, Ombrè and Combination Brows
Lip Blush Tattooing: Design and create natural brows using nano, ombré and combination techniques.
Eyeliner Tattooing: Create defined lash enhancements and soft shadow liners tailored to each eye.
Micropigmentation (SMP): Build realistic hair density using precise dot work and layering techniques.
Paramedical Areola Tattooing: Recreate natural-looking areolas with advanced colour matching and shading.

No experience is required. Beginner PMU courses are designed for complete newcomers and will take you through everything step by step from the ground up.
Beginner PMU training can be completed in two formats. An intensive option is delivered over 4 days, with structured pre-training preparation and daily practice required beforehand. Alternatively, students can train in-person at fortnightly intervals, building skills progressively over time. This flexible program is unlimited, with most students completing it within 2–4 months.
You’ll learn brow mapping and shaping, machine techniques, pigment selection, skin fundamentals, and treatment protocols, along with how to create natural-looking brows that heal well, fade evenly, and maintain skin integrity. Core techniques covered include nano hairstroke brows and ombré/powder brows, with methods then adapted to suit each individual client.
Costs vary depending on the training pathway and units you choose. Beginner brow training is AUD $6,600, while the bundle including Lip Blush tattooing is AUD $7,700. For those enrolling in the Full Diploma of Cosmetic Tattooing, pricing ranges from $14,400 to $16,600 depending on selected electives. Payment plans are available, allowing you to pay in installments rather than upfront..
Yes — this is a core part of your beginner training. You’ll work on live models under the direct guidance of your trainer, with a structured approach that gradually builds your independence. We ensure you’re fully prepared before working on models, so you step into each session with confidence and ongoing support. There’s no limit to the number of models you can work on — you continue practicing with us until you feel completely confident.
Yes, many students go on to start their own PMU business or work within a studio after completing beginner training, especially when they continue practicing and building confidence. Yes — ongoing support is included, along with unlimited course retakes. If you take a break and wish to revisit the course, you’re welcome to attend again as a guest. We understand that PMU skills take time to refine, so there’s no limit on how long you can continue learning with us until you feel fully confident.
Yes, we offer two flexible options: you can apply for finance through our lending partner, PayRight, or choose a direct pre-payment plan with us. Our pre-payment option does not involve any credit checks, additional fees, or charges; however, the full balance must be paid in full prior to the first day of training.
